Terms of Service
1. What FindAVSO is
FindAVSO is a searchable directory of the attorneys, claims agents, and VSO representatives accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs, reproduced from the public accreditation lists published by the VA Office of General Counsel.
FindAVSO is operated by No Veteran Alone, Inc. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
By using the site you agree to these terms.
2. A listing is not a recommendation
Appearing in this directory means the VA published the person's accreditation. It does not mean we vouch for them, rate them, or recommend them. We do not evaluate competence, and we do not rank by anything you could buy.
Money does not move anyone up in search results. Ordering is identical for paying members and free listings. Sponsorship, where it exists, is a labeled box outside the results that never reorders them. This is a term of this agreement, not only a policy.
3. Nothing here is legal advice
FindAVSO does not provide legal advice, claims advice, or representation. Nothing on this site creates an attorney-client or representative-client relationship between you and FindAVSO. If you need help with a claim, that relationship is with the accredited representative you choose, not with us.
4. For representatives: your listing
Your listing exists because the VA published your accreditation. You may claim it to verify your identity and correct the information on it.
When you claim a listing you agree that: you are the person named in that VA record or are authorized to act for them; the accreditation documentation you send us is genuine and current; and the information you add to your profile is accurate and not misleading about your accreditation, credentials, fee authority, or any affiliation with the VA.
We may decline, suspend, or remove a claim or any profile content that we believe is inaccurate, misleading, or in conflict with our advertising and sponsorship policy. Accreditation status is checked against the VA OGC lists on an ongoing basis; suspension or cancellation of accreditation ends paid membership the same day, with fees for the remaining term refunded pro rata.
5. Membership and billing
Free listings are permanent. You are never removed for not paying.
Paid tiers are flat published subscriptions billed in advance. If you stop paying, your listing reverts to Free — it stays in the directory, in the same position, with your VA-sourced information. You lose the profile detail you added and the analytics. You lose nothing you started with.
You may cancel at any time from your account or by writing to support@findavso.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
Rates published as founding-member rates are locked for the life of the membership.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store card numbers.
6. Acceptable use
Do not: scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download the directory or any part of it; use automated means to extract listings; resell or redistribute the compiled directory; use contact information from the directory to send unsolicited commercial messages; misrepresent yourself as another representative or as FindAVSO; or attempt to interfere with the site's operation or security.
The underlying VA accreditation data is a public federal record and we make no claim to it. The compiled directory — its selection, arrangement, enrichment, and presentation — is ours.
7. SMS terms
Program. FindAVSO listing verification and account notices.
Who receives messages, and why. Only accredited representatives who begin claiming their own FindAVSO listing and provide a mobile number for that purpose. We send a one-time verification code, and transactional notices about that representative's own listing — a payment receipt, a reminder to send accreditation documentation, or a change in the listing's status.
We do not send marketing text messages, and we do not text veterans.
Consent. You consent to receive these messages by requesting a verification code during the claim process. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase — you may complete a claim without SMS by using the documentation-only verification path.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your own activity. A typical claim involves one verification code and a small number of status notices.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. FindAVSO does not charge for these messages; your mobile carrier may.
To stop. Reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages. Reply START to resume.
For help. Reply HELP, or write to support@findavso.com or call 844-951-2876.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy. Your mobile number and your consent are never shared with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy Policy.
Supported carriers. Message delivery depends on your carrier and is not guaranteed on every network.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the site up and the data current, and we will tell you plainly when it is not. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and accreditation data reflects the most recent VA OGC publication we have processed — its date is shown on the site. Always confirm accreditation with the VA before relying on it for anything consequential.
9. Disclaimers and limits
The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FindAVSO disclaims implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or from any dealing between a veteran and a representative found through it.
10. Changes
We will post revisions here with a new revision date at the top. Material changes affecting members are announced thirty days before they take effect.
