How we rank results

Results are listed in alphabetical order by last name. Payment never changes the order.

What decides who you see

Only your search decides who appears: the state, the type of representative and any name you type. Everyone who matches is listed A to Z by last name. If we add search by distance, results will sort by distance instead, and we will update this page first.

What money can't buy

Attorneys and claims agents can pay to add details to their own profile, such as a photo or a short bio. Paying never gets anyone:

• a higher place in the results
• a bigger or highlighted card in the results
• shown more often than anyone else

Any sponsor placement appears outside the results, in a box labeled Sponsor. We never charge per lead or per click, and we never sell veterans' contact information.

VSO representatives are always free to you. They work for veterans service organizations such as the American Legion, VFW and DAV.

Where the information comes from

Every listing comes from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Office of General Counsel's public list of accredited representatives, updated Aug 23, 2026. You can check any representative yourself on VA's own accreditation search.

A note about us

FindAVSO is run by No Veteran Alone, Inc. It was built by Michael Korman, a VA-accredited claims agent who is listed in this directory. His listing follows the same rules as everyone else's.
